A cultural season of rare intensity

The French Riviera is preparing to experience an extraordinary summer. Nice and the surrounding municipalities of Alpes-Maritimes announce the return of the Summer Evenings, a program that transforms every corner of the department into a lively stage. From late June to late September, no less than 500 free events are planned, each more varied than the last.

This initiative led by the Department promises a lively and accessible season, gathering a wide variety of artists to offer a free cultural experience to all audiences.

Concerts, fireworks, shows… an astonishing diversity

The watchword: eclecticism. The Summer Evenings present their programming in all forms of live art. Outdoor concerts, theatrical plays, festive parades, magic, public readings, fireworks… every discipline finds its place in the squares, beaches, gardens, or arenas of the 157 participating municipalities.

Throughout the season, artists will meet the public in an atmosphere that is both popular and friendly, typical of great summer evenings on the Riviera.

An interactive map to miss nothing

To help spectators plan their outings, an interactive map is available online. It allows filtering events based on location, personal preferences, or favorite artists. Each date, each municipality, and each style is represented, to organize one’s summer as closely as possible to one’s wishes.

This service, designed for both residents and tourists, makes every evening a tailored appointment.

A mobile application designed for summer

From June 27, the Department also launches the mobile application Summer Evenings. Once installed, it becomes a true pocket cultural assistant. With just a few clicks, it is possible to:

check nearby events using geolocation
add favorite artists and create a personalized agenda
get complete directions to each venue
receive real-time alerts in case of program changes

The interface has been designed for smooth and intuitive use, so that spectators can fully enjoy the artistic offerings without logistical effort.

By making culture free and accessible to all, the Alpes-Maritimes Department supports an inclusive and joyful vision of artistic life.
